Myopia Management for Children in Chandler, AZ
Is your child's nearsightedness getting worse every year? There's a proven way to slow it down - and it's available right here in Chandler.
If your child comes home with a stronger prescription at every eye exam, you already know the pattern: the glasses get thicker, the vision gets worse, and no one tells you it can be slowed. It can. Myopia management uses FDA-authorized treatments clinically proven to slow how fast your child's nearsightedness (myopia) progresses - protecting their vision now and lowering their lifetime risk of serious eye disease.
At Perfect Focus Eyecare in Chandler, we've cared for East Valley families for over 20 years. We offer the two most effective, FDA-authorized myopia treatments available today: Essilor Stellest lenses and CooperVision MiSight 1 day contact lenses.
Two Proven Treatments for Childhood Myopia
Essilor Stellest® Lenses - Glasses That Slow Myopia
Stellest are everyday eyeglasses your child wears normally - FDA-authorized and clinically shown to slow myopia progression by an average of 71% over two years compared to standard lenses. No contacts, no special routine. An ideal starting point, especially for younger children ages 6 and up.
CooperVision MiSight® 1 day - FDA-Approved Contact Lenses
MiSight is the first soft contact lens FDA-approved to slow the progression of myopia in children. Daily disposable, comfortable, and clinically proven - perfect for active kids ages 8 to 12 who want freedom from glasses for sports and everyday life.
Simple, Honest Pricing
- Essilor Stellest lenses - $555. Includes the Stellest lenses and your child's follow-up visit. If the prescription changes, we remake the lenses free of charge.
- MiSight 1 day contact lenses - $1,500. Includes a full year of MiSight daily disposable lenses and follow-up visits to track progress.
Myopia management begins with a comprehensive eye exam ($105), and contact lens wearers also have a contact lens evaluation and fitting ($95). Most vision plans cover the exam and evaluation, and some plans help with the cost of materials - Stellest is often covered by EyeMed. We'll check your child's specific benefits and give you a clear, honest picture before you commit to anything.
Both programs include the follow-up care that makes myopia management work - we track how your child's eyes respond and adjust as needed. You'll know it's working, and so will we.
